I personally loved the game. The atmosphere was fantastic and the game never let you get lost like some other horror games do. Plus the ending made my jaw drop as i didn’t expect it at all. 10/10 game.
Loved the way you used the house and made it very scary with your ambiance and filter! I had seen the house be used multiple times and you made it pretty scary with the dark, plus the different way you presented it, so I thought it was pretty fun!
Having the twist with the story was also really fun and super cool! I did think that it could have been better foreshadowed, but it was still pretty well done and tied in together at the end while also being super scary and unnerving!
Overall, a very fun and scary game! Well done on it and good luck for future projects!
Even if this is a quick game, even if it takes place in a house I have seen in several other horror games, even if it is not necessarily original, the tension is immediately high and the jumpscares are highly effective.
And I do appreciate that, once pushed far enough, we finally have a protagonist who arms themselves, rather than succumb to the usual hide and seek fare. No dice with this one!
The real main caveat to this game is the text intro and outro. I get you just wanna get to the action of the game, but they are written to dryly and matter-of-factly, that they feel anticlimactic rather than tension building or sad as they are supposed to. Like they were slapped on as an afterthought. A rewrite and slight tweaking of the wording would do wonders, if there isn't going to be some kind of ending or beginning graphic.
That said, Fatal Midnight was a blast. I wholle enjoyed it.

really good game but i saw the same map in 3 different horror games. One of them is Ghost Watchers on Steam
Here are my thoughts on Fatal Midnight:
+Atmosphere is sufficiently dark and creepy
+Storyline and development
+Plot twist shocked me
+"Monster" actually got me a few times
+Sound design
+-Gameplay is a little hit and miss
+-This house is very disorienting
-Cookie cutter design
-Not much in terms of replayability
Overall, a solid 8/10. Recommend!
Quite short, but a couple good jump scare's that got me. Good choice on the ending.

This was a great game and the mood in this game was very scary. The ending really gave me shock, great work!
I loved it! the performance was a little bit of an issue, but other than that, great game!
I liked how starts as a walking sim, just searching for your sister, but then it turns at the end.
The graphics, the ambient noises, the camera style of 4:3 ratio, and the flashlight! all great in my opinion.
If you guys decide to turn it into a full game, it would be amazing! a survival horror game would be so good with this style.
